We have had a great first week back settling in to our new classroom. We have started doing our Grand Old Duke of York sensory massage and have been using the counting songs to help us in maths. We have had time this week to explore the new hedgehog hideaway soft play, the adventure playground and the discovery park. We really enjoyed charanga music especially having a go with the musical instruments. We explored squiggle lines in write dance.

11.09.23-15.09.23

We are now beginning to get used to the classroom environment and the new class staff. We went on a bus ride this week and all did a great job and loved looking out the window. In Attention Everyone we made a shaving foam face and then made our own paper plate faces. We finished off our Grand Old Duke of York Sensory Massage this week ready to start a new one next week. We have been learning all about our body and tried really hard with joining in with action songs related to our body. We have been doing the first stages of write dance pre writing skills using our hands and a paint brush.

We have also had lots of intensive interaction, tacpac and communication sessions.
