This term we are learning all about Weather/Seasons. We are going to have lots of fun, getting messy, exploring new places, and joining in with a weather hunt story, and lots more exciting things.

8.1.24 This week in Mint class We have started to look at different types of weather, and different seasons, we have enjoyed a sensory story, and experiencing different types of weather.
15.1.24
On Monday we did write dance, were we used different tools to make marks in paint, we decided that it was much more fun to paint our faces, and hands :) than the tables and trays. We had lots of messy fun.
We have been looking at Autumn, we have enjoyed a using red, yellow and brown, and blue paint, to paint autumn pictures and ourselves, we have had a attention everyone session were we experienced different kinds of weather.
Star of the week goes to Damian For brilliant independence making and following instructions to make a sandwich
Speech and Language Star of the week goes to Taif for Excellent independent work on Monday. Well done!
22.1.24 This week in Mint class we have enjoyed attention everyone, were we looked at different instruments that sounds like the weather. We have also enjoyed making a sandwich, we have been brilliant in yoga and learning how our body moves.
29.1.24 This week in Mint class we have looked at the rain, We went outside and splashed in the puddles, it was raining very heavy but we had lots of fun, the staff I think Mint Class Loved the rain. With it being bird week We have made bird balls, which the children loved, we mixed lard, porridge oats and raisins together and made lots of mess we then put them outside to see what bird would come in to out garden. We have also been practicing our skills with Mat Man. In Attention Everyone We made a rainbow with a spray bottle. On Friday We loved paying playing in the Discovery Park with our friends.

This week in Mint class we have been very busy we have celebrated children's mental health week we did this by dressing up in different outfits to express ourselves, we have also created our very own art using different materials to express our creativity.
On Monday we have practiced our yoga and PE skills, we tried very hard to follow the picture cards
On Tuesday we made a sun, and enjoyed a ball pool session, we did lots of sharing and taking turns,
On Wednesday we have celebrated Chinese New Year by decorating a Dragon we have also made a sandwich with no support, we practiced our spreading skills
On Thursday we enjoyed our sensory story about weather, the children really enjoyed the shaving foam which we pretended was snow, in the afternoon we have had cold visit to the Winter Gardens
Friday we have enjoyed tapping sticks, dough disco and mat man and then in the afternoon we made a weather road with lots of chocolate, sprinkles, marshmallows, it tasted yummy.
