The Bingo Association's Charity Event and Parliamentary Reception
Every two years the Bingo Association hosts an event at the House of Commons to celebrate the fundraising and charitable achievements of the Bingo Industry.
As a special school who was a mini-bus recipient this year we were invited to the event in recognition of the ‘incredible work’ we do and to join in their celebrations
To date Bingo customers have raised over £3 Million for Variety, the children’s charity.
Lynn and Berny went along as representatives for Columbia Grange, in recognition of the commitment and support they show to ensuring transport procedures run as effectively and smoothly as they do every morning and evening
Afternoon drinks and tea were provided, and the invite included complimentary travel between the Houses of Parliament and home. They also received accommodation and dinner free of charge in London.
As the photos show they had a wonderful time and had a great opportunity to experience the atmosphere and excitement of the seat of government and meeting Holby City and Strictly Come Dancing winner of 2017 Joe McFadden!
