Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Class 6 and some of class 9 took part in a music workshop, as part of our 'Sounds of Sunderland Explore Arts Award'.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Paul, Sally, Jo, Rupert & Lisa came to school with their instruments - the violin, flute, trombone and percussion. Janet and Liam also came to join in with the fun!
We made a piece of music about water thinking about 'Handel's water music'.
We really enjoyed writing the lyrics and playing lots of different instrument.
The whole school got to enjoy the hard work when they watched a great performance by our pupils alongside the orchestra.
