Makaton Training
Makaton is a language programme using signs and symbols to help people to communicate. It is designed to support spoken language and the signs and symbols are used with speech, in spoken word order. It can be used alongside other communication systems such as PECS as part of a total communication approach.
Michelle Wardropper class 9 teacher is running a course on Makaton in school, she still has places available on the course which runs for 4 week
starting 26th Feb, and followed by 5th, 12th, 19th March
