Outdoor Learning Day May 2022
We all had a wonderful day last week for our 'Outdoor Learning Day'.
Our theme for this day was based around creativity
Some of the activities the children participated included, sensory dance, turn taking and requesting on the Adventure Play Area, collecting natural materials on the Discovery Park to make funny faces, rubbing bark on the trees, collecting materials to make a bug hotel and putting minibeasts in it.
There was also classes making bird feeders, making water ways, floating and sinking, making their own flags using flowers and leaves, taking photographs of each other striking a pose, planting peas and making funny face cress heads.
Some classes were making preparations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee including painting with red, white and blue paint, decorating crowns for the queen using flowers, grass, sticks and sand.
A great day was had by all.
