Little Steps, Big Aspirations For All

This year our school theme was Little Red Riding Hood. Each class explored the story in different ways. Some children chose to dress up as characters from the story, whilst others dressed as characters from their favourite books. Take a look at what we got up to below.

Scarlet class listened to a Little Red Riding Hood song on the whiteboard and played with the props during our sensory story. They had lots of fun in the hall jumping and lying on Granny’s bed, walking through the forest, carrying baskets of apples and dressing up as characters from the story.

Sage class enjoyed painting some of the characters and sequencing the story. In P.E they listened to the story of ‘Little Red’ and played ‘What time is it Mr Wolf?’.

Navy class enjoyed the story of Little Red Riding Hood. They made wanted posters on a publisher document in ICT using describing words.

The Nest explored the objects during a sensory story. Their favourite was the big teeth just like the wolf!
