Seaham and District Darts and Domino League
As a school we were thrilled to be invited to the annual presentation of the Seaham and District Darts and Domino League. The league has a charitable aspect and has regular collections amongst its members and makes generous donations to charities.
Chairman Alan Thompson is pictured handing a cheque of £500 to our Head, John whilst John exchanges a thank you card.
This level of generosity is absolutely fantastic and warmly welcomed by everyone attached to the school.
Over £3,000 was handed to charities on the night- what a superbly kind and thoughtful thing to do. Kirsty Davie nominated us and we are ever so grateful to her for doing this.
We intend to apply this money to our fundraising for the VR sensory room.
