Hello my name is Linda Hutchinson, I've been a member of staff at Columbia Grange School for 8 years now and when I needed to implement a change within school for a level 4 qualification, I immediately thought of upgrading the yard. Working with our P.E lead Gavin Briggs, I decided to concentrate on the MUGA pitch to bring purpose to the area. I wanted to enable the children and staff with play skills. by creating three games, Snakes and Ladders, Duck, Duck goose and a target throwing game. I wanted a running track, a smaller football pitch, lining up lines and spots to give the children the skills to line up effectively. I have enjoyed this project from start to finish and I hope the children enjoy it too.
