New School Minibus
Hooray we have our new school minibus!
We received the new minibus on June 7th – eight days before the Bingo Association officially unveiled it at a special ceremony held at the school on June 15th.
As well as the Bingo Association, the event was attended by representatives from Variety, the Children’s Charity. The Bingo Association teamed up with Variety to provide us with our much needed new vehicle.
Our old bus was 13 years old and had become very unreliable, often breaking down and costing the school huge sums of money on garage bills.
The 17 seater vehicle, officially known as a Variety Sunshine Coach, is the 15th donated by the Bingo Association in the last three years, thanks to the fundraising efforts of the bingo industry, their staff and customers. The organisation has now raised more than £1 million for Variety.
We would like to thank everyone involved for their generosity and look forward to many great outings in the future.
