On World Math's Day, Class 8 created a café in their classroom.
Here is what Max had to say about the day.
''We came in with navy joggers and a white t-shirt and wore an apron and hairnet if we wanted to and we also had our badges with our names.
Our jobs which was the till, the cleaning, the cooking, the serving and welcoming people in. Each time we swapped jobs.
The serving job we had to ask what the people want and write it down on a list and go to the kitchen and show them. They had to cook the food and take it to each table.
After that they went to the till to pay for the food and drinks. After that the cleaners had to clean the tables for the next customers.
It was actually a really good day!''
All classes had the chance to visit the café during the day, either for table service or take away. The café encouraged children to request and communicate with PECS, symbols, gestures or verbal language and the children paid with symbols or money.
A great day was had by all and Class 8 pupils and staff were shattered at the end of their shift.
